The PTA is excited to share the programs we have lined up. These programs will be held on-site at the school unless stated otherwise. Bus transportation is not available after these programs. Parents & guardians who have students who take the bus will have to coordinate their own transportation home.
All after-school programs providers are accountable for operating the programs (registration, logistics, payment, etc.) and are run independently from the PTA. Providers are solely responsible for the children during class time, not Monta Loma Elementary School nor Monta Loma PTA. Should you have any questions about the program, please contact the provider directly.
Mondays: Animation Studio with Snapology, Grade 1 - 5
Who doesn’t love an action-packed animation movie that brings our favorite toys to life? In this technical program, children will work in teams to learn the fundamentals of stop motion animation and develop their own animated movie starring some of their favorite LEGO® mini-figures! Tuesdays: Soccer with Coach Ken, Grades TK - 5
Learn great soccer skills that are developmentally-appropriate and emphasize creativity and develop motor skills through fun-filled games and challenges! TK students and kinders who do not attend BTB or YMCA can be picked up by the soccer coach at no additional charge. They will be looked after between dismissal and the start of the program.

Wednesdays: Engineering & Design Thinking , Grades 1 - 5
Real world, open ended challenges that teach your child to think critically. No step-by-step instructions, our teachers guide kids to learn through failure and iteration.

Thursdays: Art Explorers with ArtHouse Studio, Grades 2-5
Create, imagine, and explore materials during this fun after-school program! Each week we will learn about new materials such as watercolor, tempera, pastels and more.

CENG Free Online Spring Coding Classes for 3rd - 8th grade students
Wednesdays, Sep 3 - Oct 8: Scratch, JavaScript, Python
Saturdays, Sep 6 - Oct 11: Scratch, JavaScript, Python, Java, and Minecraft
