After-School Programs
The PTA is excited to share the programs we have lined up. These programs will be held on-site at the school unless stated otherwise. Bus transportation is not available after these programs. Parents & guardians who have students who take the bus will have to coordinate their own transportation home.
All after-school programs providers are accountable for operating the programs (registration, logistics, payment, etc.) and are run independently from the PTA. Providers are solely responsible for the children during class time, not Monta Loma Elementary School nor Monta Loma PTA. Should you have any questions about the program, please contact the provider directly.
LEGO® Spike Prime Robotics (grades 1 - 5) - Mondays, September 16 - November 18 from 3 - 4:30pm, no classes on October 21 and November 11. For more information and to register, check out their site.
Coach Ken Soccer (TK- grade 5) - Tuesdays, September 10 - December 10, from 3:15 - 4:15pm, no classes on Oct 22 & Nov 26. TK students and kinders who are not part of BTB or Right at School, can be picked up by the soccer coach at no additional charge. They will be looked after between dismissal and the start of the program. For more information and to register, check out their site.
CENG (Computer Engineers of the Next Generation, 3rd - 8th graders, free) - all classes are via Zoom
Wednesdays, October 16 - November 20 from 4:15 - 5:45pm. Scratch, JavaScript, and Python classes are offered.
Saturdays, October 19 - November 23 from 4:15- 5:45pm. Scratch, JavaScript, Python, and Minecraft classes are offered.

Mad Science (grades 1 - 5) - Wednesdays, September 25 - November 20 from 3 - 4pm, no classes on October 23. Every class of Mad Science has a take-home activity that continues the science lesson taught in class! For more information check out their site. Registration is closed.
Arthouse Studio art classes (K - grade 2) - Thursdays, September 19 - December 12 from 12:30 - 1:30pm, no classes on October 10, 17 and November 28. Registration is closed.
